Abstract:
In modern systems one of the main directions of activity focused on increase of efficiency of IT infrastructure, application of technologies of virtualization is. In article relevance and need of use of technology of virtualization are designated at creation of modern information systems. Results of the analysis and criteria of a possible choice of a platform of virtualization are given in article. The functional model of a choice of a platform of virtualization IDEF0 constructed within methodology is presented. The assessment and recommendations of leading vendors about application of appendices for virtualization is given. The assessment of shortcomings of virtualization of multimedia applications is given. Approaches on use of virtual computers are considered. In the course of researches the platforms of virtualization most extended at the moment were considered and the comparative analysis is carried out them. It allowed to reveal the main distinctions and to formulate approaches to a choice of a platform of the virtualization, a stage of planning of the virtualized infrastructure making a basis. Also research of influence of virtualization on network productivity was conducted and recommendations about a choice of appendices for transfer in the virtualized environment are formulated.
