Abstract:
In the article problem-solving procedures of determination of position with using known distances is considered. Two basic problem-solving procedures: geometrical method and Newton method are introduced. The concrete determinations of position method possibilities of application to different amount of known reference points are considered. The comparison of computational burden of two methods is done. Also contingencies, which foreground on the task solution in the concrete method choice, are shown.
