The military automation control systems development with a glance to network technologies

Abstract:
The one of the most important ways of the military automation control systems (ACS) evolution at the present time is the development of the systems for the network-centric operation. For this reason the goal of this paper is the unified military ACS (UACS) development conceptual approaches consideration. The main disadvantages of the present-day military ACS are aligned with the UACS development conception absence, the uncompleted automation of the control, acquisition and processing of information, that is received from various sources, unsatisfactory means of information representation to the decision-maker. In this paper the conception of distributed real-time UACS development is offered. This conception is meant to increasing all ACS system indexes such as combat effectiveness, vitality, informativeness and economical efficiency.
