The concept of intellectualization of transport is considered in economically developed countries as the main resource for solution of transport problems. Thus, effective integration of data can improve considerably profitability of decision-making at handle of objects at operative, tactical and strategic levels. Increasing requirements to coprocessing space data for various applications have revealed acute need for scalability of GIS and creation of geoinformational space. Actualization of the geoinformational space supported by GIS tool environment, in modern conditions assumes development and support of the centralized repositories grounded on integrated data models which represent space structure of objects of an infrastructure and include various aspects of the information of life cycle of objects. In this operation possibility of strengthening of role of GIS in support of development of federated systems of handle by objects of an infrastructure on the basis of a repository is discussed.
