The radio channels specifications should meet high international requirements. The radio complexes engineering design, which provides compliance with these requirements, in fact specifies the price and competitive ability of the radio complexes. The implementation of the new principles of the software development for airborne and ground soft-hardware complexes allows radical reducing the time and the price of the project engineering implementation, as well as considerable expanding the potential for the modernization of the complexes - operation algorithm. To accelerate the realization of up-to-date tendencies in the information support of the airborne and ground radio communication complexes the following priority activities are to be carried out: - Development of wide-band and ultrabandwidth radio electronic equipment which is software modified and upgraded; - Development of system-forming software environment and methods of its efficient application under different conditions and in a variety of operational situations; - Development and adaptation of robust, flexible and high-level-of-security control and communication networks. The most important task is the development of integrated standard radio communication and retranslation complexes, which operate in the advanced systems, as well as in current systems and are built on the basis of the modular concept of open multiband communication systems, due to which the complex configuration can be timely modification subject to the assigned task. The equipment modular design ensures prompt reconfiguration of the complexes according to a specific task.
