Abstract:
The calculation of an angle α between a direction, on which light pulse should be sent with laser station to a retroreflector of a spacecraft, being in a circular orbit, and a direction on which it will come back on laser station is carried out. The formula for an error ΔL is deduced at distance measurement between laser station and a spacecraft, arisingbecause of non-inertial frame of reference in which is laser station. It is shown that at a location of spacecraft, being in low circular orbits (RS ~ 6,7...7,0 thousand in km), the angle size α and error ΔL distance measurements between laser station and spacecraft are small. At a location of the spacecraft which are on the far circular orbits (RS ~ 350 thousand in km), they become measureable: α = 34 angular seconds, ΔL = 3 cm. Therefore at carrying out precision laser ranging of such spacecrafts influence of non-inertial frame of reference in which there is a laser station, it is necessary to consider.
