Fusion Methods for UAV Data

Abstract:
The main tasks of data fusion for UAV systems are considered. The purpose of data fusion is to raise the surveillance accuracy, reliability and comprehension for UAV systems as well as for other surveillance systems. The multi-level model of data fusion is proposed for control systems, using UAV systems data as well as other surveillance systems data. The processes of data fusion, the necessary input data, and the results of data fusion are described. It is shown that the variety of objects, processed at different data fusion levels, makes it necessary to use various methods for data fusion procedures. These methods can be transferred to the data fusion technology from the different science spheres. The procedures of complex recognition for simple objects are proposed, as well as simple objects clustering technology.
