Abstract:
In this paper a contextual system for concise description and segmentation of color images in real time aimed at solving a wide range of image understanding problems. The implemented vision system contains subsystems with the following basic functions: early vision (selection of local objects in narrow image strips), intermediate vision (construction of global objects), and high level (approximate qualitative classification of global objects)
