The sustainable development of the human society, its wise interaction with Nature, which is the one of the most important tasks of the modern science, have called forth for working out the system for ecological monitoring. The monitoring system provides fusion, classification, analysis, evaluation and interpretation of observed information, based on a set of reliable indicators, permit control and forecast possible alternatives of ecological situations development. Some aspects of the system creation are discussed in the article, which are the following: The mathematical model of ecological situation control, based on informational statistical approach.
