Velocity measurement for navigation receiver

Abstract:
A method of frequency estimation for a navigation receiver that receives and processes signals of navigation satellites (GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO systems) has been considered. A frequency estimation of various satellite signals is re-counted to get a velocity estimation of receiver movement and is further delivered to the user. Variants of building the digital measuring system for changing signal frequency being received in additive composition with Gaussian noise and reflected signals have been considered in the paper. Equivalent schemes and equations enabling to build simulation models to estimate fluctuation and dynamic errors as well as some other measured performances have been suggested.
