Detection of Manoeuvring Air Objects by Coherent-Pulsed Radar on the Base of the Analysis of Estimation Doppler Frequency Offsets Reflected Signal

Abstract:
The methods for syntheses of the manoeuvring air object signal detector on the base of the analysis of estimation of the reflected signal Doppler frequency offset are presented. It is shown that probability density of the Doppler frequency estimation at the output of the Kalman filter are described by the normal law. Expression is received for likelihood criterion and the structure of the detector for one range channel is presented. The method of simulation modeling is used to receive characteristics of the detection of the both not manoeuring and manoeuvring objects. Methods of the choice of the threshold of the detection are justified. It is shown that a solution of the problem of the detection under radar observation of the both manoeuvring and not manoeuvring objects can be carried out for time smaller than that required at realization of the detector according to the Neyman-Pirson criterion, at equality of the finding quality factors.
