Abstract:
Modern manufacturing technologies of infra-red receivers of radiation have translated digital thermo vision systems on absolutely new level of development. Besides detectors of direct detecting (cooled receivers of IR radiation) there was essentially new type of detectors - heat-detecting detectors (not cooled receivers of IR radiation). Thermo vision systems with not cooled receivers of radiation have rather small dimensions and weight; therefore they can be established on light and extra-light aircrafts. The analysis of key parameters of thermo vision systems including two types of the aforementioned detectors allows formulating problems to be solved with their use. Substantial improvement of technical characteristics of the given class of equipment allows raising accuracy of digital navigation systems. In the work the basic merits and demerits of cooled and not cooled receivers of IR radiation are considered in detail. The comparative estimation of their possibilities for various heights by means of calculation of such indicator of efficiency as the linear resolution is performed.
