Abstract:

A pressing scientific challenge in ensuring energy security is the formalization, automation, and reproducibility of research into the development and operation of the fuel and energy complex. Existing approaches based on a two-tiered technology for researching the fuel and energy complex rely on qualitative analytical methods, such as ontological and cognitive modeling. The transition from the results of such analysis to formalized mathematical models and development scenarios is largely manual. This limits the effectiveness of using developed models and tools in substantiating development directions for the complex from an energy security perspective.
