Abstract:

At present, collective use centers (CCU) are being increasingly developed, which provide a wide range of scientific research for the benefit of a number of scientific organizations. As part of the activities of the CCU, it is of interest to assess the effectiveness and quality of their functioning, which is determined by the relevant regulatory documents. Based on this, there is a need to develop methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of various types of CCU, taking into account their features and operating conditions.

To develop methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of the center for collective use "Informatics", created in the FRC CSC RAS.

The General characteristics of the CCU "Informatics" are presented, including the main characteristics of its scientific equipment, the organization of the work of the CCU and its capabilities. On this basis, a list of performance indicators of the CCU has been developed, it takes into account its specifics and characterizes various aspects of activity (system-wide, technical, performance). Methods for calculating partial and generalized performance indicators of the CCU, as well as a general methodological approach to evaluating its effectiveness, are proposed.

Methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of the Computer science center have been developed, which most fully take into account its features. These methodological approaches allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of the CCU «Informatics» and his contribution to the research of the FRC CSC RAS and other organizations.
