Information systems in the digital transformation of economic activities or other activities are components of specific ecosystems. Ecosystems are a network of organizations where data in digital form are a key factor of production in all areas of socio-economic activity. Effective interaction is ensured: transborder, business, scientific and educational community, state and citizens. The technical and technological environment of the ecosystem is a digital platform. Digital transformation raises new security challenges with respect of security. These challenges shall meet adequate solutions to ensure security in heterogeneous information systems of the digital economy. The problems of architectural design of security systems, modifications of the paradigm of information security to ensure cyber stability and legally significant interaction, aspects of cryptographic protection of information in the new conditions, the factor of functional security and properties of blockchain technology are under consideration in the article.
