The paper deals with advantages and disadvantages of computer-aided electronic circuits simulation methods Architecture of an optimal CAD system is treated. A new approach based on a flexible coordinate basis is suggested. An optimal multicriteria search strategy is pursued.
The system of circuit design VAR is characterized by three fundamental features:
- the presence of a dialog instrumental core, invariant to the domain and allowing the possibility of a dynamic modification of the operating model of the dialogue based on the a posteriori assessment of the current project situation;
- availability of tools for solving parametric optimization problems, taking into account the vector nature of the objective function, expressing the requirements for the project object;
- availability of tools to ensure the integrity of the circuit design process, in particular, to ensure joint optimization of heterogeneous quality parameters of the circuit (for example, taking into account the influence of variations in the coordinates of the static mode when optimizing the circuit parameters in the frequency or time domains).
