Abstract:

The article discusses the creation of tools based on open source software for modeling of organization-economical systems of high availability. Research methods use analytical representations of stochastic systems. The introduction shows the importance of the transition to the basis of open source software. Firstly, due to global trends for financial reasons and in order to obtain efficient, upgradeable information systems with access to source code. Secondly, such transition is important due to the new hardware platforms development and also domestic production. The use of the computer algebra instruments in the discussed models is in great demand for ensuring high availability of organization-economical systems.

The second section presents the general algorithm of the instrumental software for modeling of organization-economical systems.

The third section describes the choice of the Python programming language as the open source foundation.

The fourth section of the article is devoted to the description of an example of the «SE-Analysis» program development. The high efficiency of implementation and operation of algorithms based on open source software is shown. A universal method of entering symbolic mathematical expressions from the LaTeX format is implemented. There is a possibility to deploy such software on new domestic processors.
