Abstract:

he term «digital economy» was introduced in 1995 by Nicholas Negroponte, an American computer science specialist. In his conception it was said that the digital economy is not only the development and sale of software, but also electronic goods and services produced by electronic business and electronic commerce and paid for by electronic money, i.e. The digital economy affects many areas, for example, banking, education, health.

For the normal functioning of the components of the digital economy, it is required to ensure the unchanged integrity of electronic documents (ED), including such properties as accessibility, authenticity, interpretability (readability), compliance with information security requirements for storage and information exchange between information systems (IS), functioning within the framework of a single information space of the digital economy.

When exchanging EDs for different ISs within the digital economy, there is a need to protect ED in its transmission. For these purposes, blockchain technology can be used to fix the facts of the transfer of EDs and to confirm their authenticity. The data transfer record (but not the data itself) of the ED is written to the chain of blocks, both on the information receiver's IS side and on the information source's IS side.

Most often in the IS, ED is connected to other EDs. Therefore, there is a need to store links between EDs, both in the source IS, and when transmitting EDs between different ISs. The storage of ED communications with the help of distributed registry technologies can be implemented in a number of ways: explicit storage of links, while data on the binding of documents is stored in the IS; implicit storage of links, while the full picture of connections is calculated from the data of the distributed registry; storing links using smart contracts (fragments of executable code in registry blocks); storage of links in an external database.
