Abstract:
Problems of integrating and searching relevant and retrospective optical and radar information (ORI) for the arctic zone and other in-formation in the ORISAZ are considered in the article. Principal ORI-specific issues are described, taking into account the integration of information in the ORISAZ. These issues are conditioned on: the nature of the data; the specifics of the data collection/receiving and utilization during search and rescue operations (SRO/ASR)/activities/projects in Arctic conditions. The results of the analysis are given: interfaces between the ORISAZ and its data sources; domestic and international experience in solving problems of ORI integration in a single repository. Proposals for a common approach and ways to address fundamental problems of ORI integration and searching in the ORISAZ are formulated. Approaches described: to data search and retrieval on users requests in the ORISAZ; to design and actualization of aggregate data. Types of searching and fetching data algorithms are given. The approach to the selection of the algorithms which might be used in the ORISAZ are described. The types of methods of solving problems of integration and retrieval in the ORISAZ are given. The characteristics of these methods are given. The approach to the selection of the methods which might be used in the ORISAZ are described.
