Abstract:
The article presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the use of different metrics for solving the problem of recognizing types of defects in the submersible electrical equipment. An example of calculating the degree of similarity between the study of the situation that had occurred with earlier cases considered as a precedent. Criteria to select the most appropriate metric were formulated.
