Abstract:

The development of information transmission systems causes a rapid increase in the proportion of communication lines that use digital transmission methods, which provide for a whole range of various transformations of the digital information sequence carried out during signal formation. Algorithms of these transformations are not regulated by international standards and are the intellectual property of manufacturers of technical means of communication. As a result, the solution of a number of problems aimed at adapting technical solutions during the restoration of digital information sequences under conditions of signal uncertainty has become much more complicated. Consequently, there is a need to solve the problem of constructing and applying formal operations on digital information sequences under conditions of uncertainty of their structure and parameters. The purpose of the study is to develop the principles of data deduplication based on the identified signs of redundancy of digital information sequences and the identification of functions and rules when constructing inverse transformation procedures. In this paper, it is proposed to introduce elements of data optimization into the information transfer scheme. These transformations are performed at different levels: at the file level, when duplicate files are excluded from the digital information sequence, and at the block level by segments of a fixed size and segments of various lengths, which depend on the type and content of the message. The proposed principles for converting digital information sequences will significantly reduce the amount of transmitted data and thereby reduce the load on processing centers. The results obtained are the basis for an analytical description of the mechanism for solving the optimization problem in information transmission systems, which leads to a significant reduction in the amount of data transmitted from remote correspondents through overloaded data processing centers, which makes it possible to reduce the bandwidth requirements for communication channels.
