Abstract:

The paper deals with technique development to calculate and tune a stabilization system as applied to the firefighting ladders in the phase of design.

The objective is to develop a modeling technique of the system operation to control a firefighting ladder using a PRADIS simulator complex.

The PRADIS simulator complex has been used for modeling the firefighting ladder control system. The performed modeling allowed us to select the stabilization system parameters using a PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controller.

Providing the EMERCOM of Russia with highly efficient and reliable domestic equipment is a challenge, the Russian engineering industry currently faces. Detailed modeling of the firefighting ladder operation under operating conditions provides significantly reduced material and time costs for design of such devices.
