Abstract:
The article presents the results of XML-related technologies in the medical information system. As with any information system, the main functions of MIS include information gathering, which is preceded by obtaining primary data about the patient as a result of its inspection, or automatically using special equipment for registration of the patient, and, finally, of the other specialized medical information systems. Difficulties in finding the optimal control problems, documents and statements are, in fact, the result of a single cause - the lack of sub- clinical relevant information on the activities of other subsystems. Solutions to this problem can be achieved in a natural way  including all facilities management clinic in a single information space. This requires the use of technology, which would provide an opportunity to unified access to this data, as if they were a single logical and physical representation. XML can be used in any applications that need structured information  from sophisticated geographic information systems with huge volumes of information transmitted to the single-user programs that use this language to describe the service information.
