Abstract:

The requirements for shortening the design time and reducing the cost of designing REA necessitate the widespread use of high-availability modules that implement composite parts of the designed product. To date, a large amount of intellectual information on ready-made and manufactured modules has been accumulated in the electronic archives of enterprises, and this volume is continuously increasing, which leads to a significant increase in alternative versions of module sets covering the components of the product. For practical use of this information when designing a new product in a short time, it is necessary to automate the processes of forming the design basis of the designed product and choosing the preferred option for a set of modules covering its components.

Goal – to develop an automation methodology, as well as its practical implementation, and to form a constructive basis for the projected REA. The methodology is presented, and based on it, a software package is proposed that allows automating the processes of selecting from the electronic archives of the enterprise all the necessary data of the required ready-made modules and forming the initial constructive basis of the projected REA; synthesis of alternative sets of modules covering the components of the projected REA; analysis and classification of synthesized alternative sets of modules in order to selection of acceptable sets of modules of the projected REA; ranking of acceptable sets of modules according to a given criterion in order to select the preferred option for a set of REA modules. The developed automation technique is used for the practical implementation of the software package, which makes it possible to form the constructive basis of the designed REA product. The basis of the complex is the MS SQL Server database management system.
