The paper investigates the efficiency of the method of compensation for multipath radio channel multipath, which consists in passing the received signal through a filter with inverse impulse response. For this purpose the model of multipath communication channel is constructed and its impulse characteristic under ideal conditions is obtained. Comparative dependences of the bit error probability on the signal-to-noise ratio in a communication channel with a 16-QAM signal in the presence of a single reflected beam for different relative intensities of this beam without the use of a filter with inverse impulse response and with the use of such a filter. The graph of dependence of the energy gain in the second case on the relative intensity of the reflected beam is given.
