Abstract:

The main task of radio identification is to establish the correspondence between the object under study and a previously known sample from the database. The accuracy and universality of the system largely depends on the way of formation and volume of reference data, correctness of determination of parameters of the object under study. Radio identification can be realized by various characteristics of objects, among which are reflectivity, geometric shape, radiophysical characteristics, etc. The method proposed in this paper covers the listed characteristics of the object, which in turn leads to an increase in the reliability of correct identification.

Real-time radio identification of small-sized objects (SSOs) using an antenna-based radio-imaging system based on a vector circuit analyzer (VCA).

In the course of the experimental study the possibility of radio identification of objects satisfying the conditions of small size with the help of the developed radio-vision installation based on UHF VAC has been established. The algorithm of radio identification in real time mode is given.

The results of the study can be applied to the realization of the system of radio identification of MPO in real time at the production facilities in order to determine the nonconforming samples without the use of contact methods of control. Also the proposed algorithm of radio identification allows to obtain radio images of objects characterizing their radiophysical and topological characteristics.
