Minimization of all its components and systems is relevant for modern space technology. This led to a significant decrease in the mass and volume of spacecraft, which, as a result, led to a decrease in the cost of spacecraft. At the same time, it opens up new opportunities for the popularization of space research among schoolchildren and students. To present the characteristics of the satellite platform and the payload characteristics of the small spacecraft RTU MIREA1. Various aspects of the satellite platform and the payload features of the small RTU MIREA1 spacecraft are presented. The information expected to be received from the RTU MIREA1 small spacecraft during its active existence will allow students to significantly expand their knowledge in various radio engineering disciplines and apply them in practice.
