Abstract:

Network traffic analysis and forecasting remain key tasks in managing information flows in multiservice and telecommunication networks. These processes are based on forecasts that help make informed decisions.

Goal – analysis of various network traffic forecasting models and selection of the most effective forecasting model.

The proposed models of forecasting telecommunication network traffic based on time series analysis are the most promising forecasting methods.

The predicted data provides the information necessary to solve the problem of managing information flows in the network and, based on management, prevent the loss of information and multimedia packages.
