Abstract:

In the context of increased attacks on civilian objects, as well as on industrial and energy infrastructure by kamikaze drones, there is a need to secure Russian territories with airspace control systems—small radar stations (RLS) complexes—that enable the detection of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with an effective scattering area (ESA) of 0,001 m² or more.

The multifunctional radar station (MFRS) «Cheremukha» implements the following features: a high utilization rate of the developed capabilities for the frequently used Doppler speed measurement, including antenna design and signal type; a new method for processing reflected signals that enhances the signal-to-noise ratio; multiple information reception bands; several decision-making modules; absence of dead zones; search mode; high stealth characteristics, mobility, and autonomy; detection of UAVs with low RCS.
