Digital signal processors (DSP) are used widely in many telecommunication systems to implement data processing and signal demodulation in wireline soft modems. DSP algorithms of signal demodulation at first stage contains spectrum shift unit to get complex-valued signal to be detected and transformed into bit-stream. To improve the performance of DSP demodulator the modified data structure and computational algorithm is presented. The application of DSP macroinstructions (intrinsics) is shown. In conclusion, the C-language code of modified Hilbert transformer is given.
