Abstract:

Energy-efficient long-range Low power wide area network networks based on the physical layer of LoRa have become widespread in recent years. Despite the fact that a large number of publications are devoted to radio systems with LoRa modulation, the very implementation of the physical layer of LoRa remains a trade secret. It is necessary to note a certain complexity of the timing and frequency synchronization algorithm when detecting a LoRa-modulated signal frame. This work is devoted to the description and disclosure of the main stages of the algorithm for synchronizing the reception of a signal frame with LoRa modulation, which will allow developers to implement their own communication channels based on LoRa modulation in their systems.
