Abstract:

Radio-electronic systems using phase-shift keyed noise-like signals (radar systems, communication systems, etc.) are considered. In such systems, the signal is detected using a clock pulse (SI). The phase of the SI clock pulse changes in accordance with the DPSI binary sequence. SR detection in existing systems is performed using a classical detector, consisting of a Matched Filter, an Adaptive Threshold Finder and a Solver.

The disadvantages of such a detector are:

generation of false alarms;

generation of false detections associated with poor correlation properties of binary sequences used to modulate the signal phase;

the need to search for a large ensemble of binary sequences having «good» ACF and WCF.

For false alarms and false detections, their processing is started, which reduces a number of system characteristics.

The search for a large ensemble of binary sequences for signal phase modulation has not been successful so far.

The presented article proposes a method for detecting the synchro pulse of a noise-like signal, which reduces the probability of false alarms and does not give false detections associated with the correlation properties of the sequences modulating the phase of the signal. The main advantage of the proposed SI detector is the possibility of using any sequences of the complete code to modulate the signal phase.
