The range of developed materials and dielectric resonators based on them, which are produced by domestic and foreign companies, has been analyzed. The main parameters of a dielectric resonator, as well as the state and prospects for the development of dielectric resonator production technology are considered in «JSC RPC «Istok» named after Shokin». Promising directions for the production of dielectric resonators are outlined. The technology of synthesis and thermal treatment of the material in Ba-Mg-Ta (BMT) oxide system are studied in detail. Dielectric resonators based on BMT material have a high-quality factor – more than 20 thousand at a frequency of 10 GHz. The high-quality factor of a dielectric resonator is of interest from the point of view of production technology, as well as from the point of view of subsequent application in microwave technology. In addition, ways to ensure the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation within the framework of the production of dielectric resonators are proposed.
