Abstract:

The article is indicates achievements of domestic science and technology, in the first place, avionics of newest domestic aviation complex. The article is the first part of work and continues the cycle of publications of authors on the latest domestic fighters Sukhoi Su–35 [1] and Sukhoi Su–57 [2,3].

In this work, we analyses armaments of multifunction aviation complex Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter that rigging newest high–precision avionics. Electronic armaments including AESA «Zhuk–AE/AME» radar were considered. Specifics and capabilities of avionics of Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter were indicated.

Shows the capabilities of electronic weapons Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter which satisfy the best modern designs.

Airborne electronic armament of Mikoyan MiG–35 based on new generation technology has the following components.

Armament control complex including: multifunction AESA radar «Zhuk» family; electro-optical complex; helmet-mounted targeting and display system; computer complex; aim and navigation complex.

Multispectral defense complex including: electronic reconnaissance and radio resistance complex; detection of attacking missiles and laser irradiation complex; system of rocket control and targeting to hit radio emitting ground and surface targets; exposure warning complex; false target dispensers (passive disturbance). 3. Communication complex of data transmission and coding.

Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter for combat capability uses: electronic system of flight instruments; control and flight information registration system; video surveillance and registration information system; remote flight control system.

Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter appears the most perfect option of lightweight tactical super maneuverable fighter.

The international presentation of Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter took place in 2017 January 27. During the presentation was announced that Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter will succeed MiG–29 fighter and should become the basis of fighter front aviation of Russia military space forces. 

The predecessor of Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter is appear Mikoyan MiG–29 fighter which at a point in time of his appearance in the eighties was real breakthrough.

The lightweight Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter of 4++ generation appears multifunction aviation complex to gain supremacy in the air. His uniqueness consist in applicability broad spectrum of advanced armament beginning with supermodern AESA radar and ending with quite a number novel optical systems. Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter ensures high-precision position detection and fire control.

Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter on the level of radioelectronic systems close to fifth generation.

Main differences of Mikoyan MiG–35 are integration in avionics information-sighting system of fifth generation, applicability perspective aviation means of destruction as well as increased combat stability by introducing up-to-date EW funds.

While developing Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter main attention was paid to electronics.

The most advanced developments in area AESA radar embodied in multifunctional radars «Zhuk» family for Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter «Zhuk–AE» «Zhuk–AME».

Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter became the first European fighter equipped with a AESA radar.

An analysis of the features of avionics shows that Mikoyan MiG–35 fighter 35 is the most efficient multirole light fighter.
