L2 switches are one of the most common devices in the topology of info- and telecommunication networks. The architecture of the systems mentioned implies, as a rule, the presence in their composition of a certain number of segments, which can confidently be attributed to the number of traditional. However, even in these cases, along with repeatedly approved design approaches for L2 switch configurations, there are certain ambiguities for situations related to descriptions of untagged traffic processing.
The purpose of the work is to solve the problem of processing untagged traffic for LU switches manufactured by HUAWEI.
The possibility of implementing Huawei L2 switch configurations for processing untagged access traffic to a collective resource from user groups that are logically isolated from each other using virtual network technology is considered. Configurations were debugged and tested in the eNSP emulator environment.
The possibility of using configurations through the use of hybrid mode for the ports involved is shown..
