Abstract:

In this paper, the universal ranging code generator of open navigation signals is presented. This structure allows the ranging codes generation for about 67% of all open navigation signals. The initialization parameters used for configuring this generator to generating ranging codes for different signal types are presented. We also implemented the universal generator as a FPGA-based module as part of the navigation receiver software.
