Abstract:

Probabilistic characteristics of radio equipment of DMR mobile radio communication systems based on mass service theory approaches are considered. The dependence of the required number of channels on the configuration of subscribers in the service area is determined. Calculation of signal attenuation in broadband access networks based on approximation of functions obtained in  accordance with COST231–Hata and Okamura–Hat models is considered. Proposals for practical application have been developed and prospects for its use have been defined.

The success of the promotion of wireless communication technologies is largely determined by the level of development of telecommunication infrastructure of the regions, and first of all, by the preparation of their territories for the deployment of network equipment. In accordance with GOST R 56172-2014, requirements to radio equipment of mobile radio communication systems of DMR standard are defined: base stations (BS), repeaters, subscriber radio stations (AS) in terms of radio interface parameters, electromagnetic compatibility, resistance to external impacts and safety. It should be noted that the preparation of the territorial plan is a rather expensive procedure requiring a high level of technical expertise. This issue is particularly relevant for companies promoting broadband radio access (SHD) networks deployed for a short period of time, since, as a rule, a short period of time does not allow full use of the developed approaches to the calculation of coverage areas based on the known models of attenuation of the signal COST231–Hata, Okamura–Hata, Xia–Bertoni and others. However, the diversity of approaches to the problem in question does not allow for a clear choice.
