Abstract:
Construction of input-output subsystems within building next-generation on-board computing complex appears to be a serious issue. Several critical disadvantages in current high-end IO-modules are discussed in the article. There are two main strategies of organization special-purpose IO-devices: module-style and stand-alone implementation. For simplified construction for both types of new IO devices Base-IO Mezzanine Module architecture was suggested. Internal organization of Base-IO Mezzanine Module was particularly described in the article.
