Abstract:

An algorithm for generating and processing probing radar signal, guaranteeing a predetermined low level of side lobes of the compressed signal. An algorithm adaptation detectors signals against interference from local objects with high correlation reflected signal. This algorithm is based on the decomposition of the correlation matrix interference in a series of eigenvectors. In this case the eigenvectors are fixed, and the eigenvalues are evaluated on the learning sample interference.

Three variants of the implementation of an adaptive algorithm and calculated their immunity characteristics.

It is shown that a variant implementation of the algorithm as applied in a pulse-Doppler radar has significant drawbacks when used in aerodrome ATC radars. This is associated with a high level of interference from local objects located at a relatively close distance radar and processing non-optimality of the algorithm in terms of clutter.
