Abstract:

The requirements for the dynamic range of an analog-to-digital converter of a radar with a synthetic aperture of an antenna with FMCW signal are considered. It is shown that the dynamic range of the digital signal processing system can be expanded by applying amplitude correction of the intermediate frequency signal and taking into account the increase in the effective ADC bit capacity when digitizing the noisy signal (the oversampling effect).
