The functional model of the navigation receiver developed in the Matlab/Simulink allows studying and correcting the parameters of spatial orientation methods, analyzing the influence of the troposphere environment of the navigation signal on the accuracy of determining the coordinates of the object and so on. The proposed functional model simulates the characteristics of the digital signal processing unit of the navigation receiver and is intended for use in the preliminary design stages of navigation equipment in order to shorten their duration and reduce the cost of prototyping.
