Abstract:

Development results of medium wave radiobeacon «Kaskad 800», dedicated for operation as a part of marine and river differential subsystems of global navigation satellite systems, are presented. Technical solutions, allowing to ensure increased operational reli- ability of medium wave radiobeacon «Kaskad 800» in severe climatic conditions of the Arctic, Siberia and the Far East, are consid- ered. Based on pulse-width regulation method of smooth power change of output signal of medium wave radiobeacon «Kaskad 800» is described. Using of this method is one of features of the considered device as compared to existing native and foreign analogs. Created within this development scientific and technical background is notified to suit for use in various applications in both radionavigation systems and radiocommunication systems areas.
