Abstract:

Based on the vector representation of the orthogonal sounding and reflected signals of a full polarization radar, a mathematical model of a full polarization range radar portrait is developed, which is represented by a multidimensional set formed as a sequence of polarization scattering matrices determined at the time points corresponding to the delay of signals reflected from the elements of the object that are allowed in range. Using the model, calculated data were obtained and conclusions were drawn about the possibility of improving the quality of selection based on the use of the multidimensional feature of selection - the full polarization range radar portrait in the mode of full polarization sounding.
