Abstract:

The article analyses the routes of searching for zones of convective clouds and thunderstorm activity in the implementation of information support for meteorological monitoring. With the use of the analytic optimization apparatus, optimal variants of flight routes for aircraft complexes performing meteorological radar in a given region are determined, the necessary optimality conditions are formulated, numerical simulation is carried out, and the effect of the optimization is estimated.
