Abstract:
The principles of construction of the specialized MIMO radar for tracking the space junk are considered in the article. The proposed radar has high throughput and provides high-precision measurements of position and velocity vectors of space junk elements. Different ways for construction the MIMO radar are analyzed. The numerical evaluation of the necessary energy resources and achievable accuracy characteristics of the MIMO radar are given for each way of the construction.
