Range measurement to hovering helicopter in airborne pulse doppler radar

Abstract:
The paper contains mathematical modeling results of three different range measurement methods using technique multiple pulse re-petition frequency. Are considers the known methods: the range measurement with using the Chinese remainder theorem and vernier method of range measurement. A new range measurement method by the criterion of maximum a posteriori probability density is proposed. In article are shows comparison of these methods, advantages and disadvantages are marked.
