Abstract:
The block of the liquid cooling system (LCS) is an integral part of the sending device of multipurpose radar station (MRS). Together with blocks of heat exchangers and a receiver it-s intended for ensuring no-failure operation of preliminary and output amplifiers, and also the microwave elements of the waveguide path due to maintenance of the heat carrier temperature about 70±15°C at the taken-away thermal power to 40 kW and ambient temperature from −50°C to +50°C. Operating experience of serially released LCS blocks of the MRS sending device revealed a number of reducing equipment reliability shortcomings in general: imperfection of the function hydraulic scheme at which realization additional load of the pump is created; low reliability of sensors of an the heat carrier expense. The upgraded LCS block realized according to the new irreversive function hydraulic scheme in which constructive defects are eliminated is presented in article. The offered modernization allows to increase reliability and operational characteristics of the sending device the LCS block.
