Simulation system with variable structure for dynamic objects

Abstract:
To determine the accuracy and dynamic performance, calculation infelicity should be tenths of a percent in the simulation of electro-mechanical antenna pointing systems. Such calculation infelicity can be possible to obtain due to the increase in the level of detail models by taking into account the unique characteristics of various elements of the simulated object. Complexity of the models and the computation time increased with increasing accuracy. The use of conventional numerical methods for solving differential-algebraic equations leads to the fact that it is necessary to choose a very small integration step, the calculation process is slowed down and the simulation time becomes unacceptable. Calculating process of certain mathematical models may take up several hours or days. As a consequence, there is a problem: a contradiction in the ratio of time and accuracy of calculations. To solve this problem is proposed to use the simulation system with variable structure, which will change the structure and composition of the models in the process of calculations. In general, system contains form the raw data, the adder, feedback sensor, the correcting device and the control object. During the simulation, the results obtained from the feedback sensor are compared with the set raw data, and based on the difference between the data, the system must change a method or algorithm or model computations, if it is necessary. The problem is that at the output of the feedback sensor may turn out absolutely incompatible parameters with the release of a block raw data. The comparison in stage of development is unknown. As a result, proposed a concept modeling system of dynamic objects with variable structure. The impact managing are complex models, methods and algorithms - their selection change the process and the structure of the simulation. Identified problems which decision is necessary for correct operation of the simulation system. In the long term plan, the simulation system will ensure maximization of accuracy and minimization of simulation time that will improve the quality of the design of electromechanical antenna pointing systems, electric drives, in general.
