Abstract:
During the flight-experimental research were registered radar signals reflected from different classes and types of Russian-made aircraft with the help of the line output of the receiving channel of the airborne radar with a centimeter wave band phased antenna array.
As a result of the narrow-band spectral analysis of the recorded signals it is possible to execute the detection of the following state of air targets.
The state of a single airborne target. The target is classified on the following basis «turbojet aircraft - turboprop aircraft - helicopter - missile» - with the help of the analysis of the differences in the spectral Doppler portrait types. The target type from the classification «turbojet aircraft» - based on the analysis of the mutual frequency arrangement of the signal-s spectral component reflected from the air-frames of group-s aircraft and the first low pressure compressor of the aircraft of the group, and by it determine the type of each aircraft in the group.
The state of the group airborne target. Numerical discrepancy of the group - by analyzing the number of local maxima in the spectral Doppler portrait. The typical membership of the group from type «turbojet aircraft» - same as for the single target - based on the analysis of the mutual frequency arrangement of the signal-s spectral component reflected from the airframes of group-s aircraft and the first low pres-sure compressor of the aircraft of the group, and by it determine the type of each aircraft in the group.
The state of separating of the airborne target. The fact of target separation. The class of separating (detaching) airborne targets on the following basis «aircraft - aircraft weapons». As a result of the analysis of time-varying Doppler frequency registered signals it is possible to detect the next states of the airborne targets.
The state of the single airborne target. The type of flight is classified on the following basis «stationary flight - maneuver» with the help of the analysis of the differences in the trajectories in the Doppler portraits. The type of the target on the basis of classification «turbojet aircraft» - same as for the single target but with the help of the mutual arrangement of the trajectories of the Doppler frequency to corresponding signals which were reflected from the airframe of the aircraft and the first low pressure compressor stage of its power plant.
The state of the group airborne target. The type of flight of the groups of targets is classified on the following basis «stationary flight - maneuver in the group - group maneuver - group separation» - with the help of the analysis of the differences in the trajectories in the Doppler portraits.
For the stationary flight are detected. Numerical discrepancy of the group. The type of group members on the basis of classification «turbojet aircraft» - same as for the spectral Doppler portrait but with the help of Doppler frequency trajectories. The purpose of the aircraft on the following basis «lead - trail».
The state of the airborne target while it is separating (detaching).The fact and type of group separating (detaching) on the following basis «speed - direction».The class of separating (detaching) airborne targets on the following basis «aircraft - aircraft weapons».
For the aircraft are recognized. Numerical discrepancy on the following basis «How many single aircraft have separated - How many aircraft groups have separated - How many aircraft are there in each group». Flying mode of each group on the following basis «sta-tionary flight - maneuver in the group - group maneuver». For the stationary flight of each group: representative composition; functional purpose.
For aircraft weapons. Aircraft weapons are classified on the following basis «missile - bomb». The amount of the detached weapons.
