Abstract:
The paper considers the problem of determining the coordinates of submarines without surfacing by using the parametric effect of in-teraction electromagnetic (EM) waves generated by base stations of coastal radio navigational system (RNS) with acoustic radiation of the submarine in the skin layer of the electromagnetic wave. The physical basis of the new method is control of the seawater con-ductivity by using acoustic radiation in the frequency range of 10-100 kHz. Existing systems are based on radio reception, or throwing the beacon using a towed antenna, due to the high absorption of elec-tromagnetic waves, which creates inconvenience for operating in motion. The technology shows that in skin layer of the EM wave occurs the correlation convolution broadband signal of the coast RNS with a similar signal emitted from the submarine, that shift the spectrum of the resulting signal to the low-frequency region, which few absorbed by water. On board of the submarine a convolution signal is received by an electromagnetic antenna. The navigation information about position lines of the submarine is the difference time of arrival between the master signal convolutions base station and the slave stations RNS. A special place can to take a new process for moving under Arctic ice, in particular at the decision hydrocarbons by using seismic exploration complex on board of the submarine.
